Robin Chamberlayne was one of the first chartered financial planners in the UK and has over 27 years’ experience in the financial services industry. He formed Progressive Strategic Solutions in 1997. Robin is particularly involved in giving strategic advice, planning ahead to secure the best asset mix and tax efficient solution. This involves the creation of holistic investment, retirement and succession plans using both conventional and specialist investment strategies. Robin helps a wide range of clients ranging from traditional rural families and estates to leading city professionals.
Robin is actively involved in the local church and is a trustee of Armstrong Energy Foundation which seeks to counter global fuel poverty, particularly in India. His family’s farm operates both commercial biomass and solar installations to meet the heat and power requirements for a large rural business centre. Robin lives and works in Maisemore with his wife and four children and enjoys rugby, coastal pursuits, fine food and wine.
